1,000th LPG 119 m³ Wagon Assembled in Ostróda

We are celebrating a remarkable milestone in the history of our plant – we have just completed the assembly of the 1,000th LPG 119 m³ wagon, one of the most popular models in the fleet of our parent company, GATX Rail Europe!

Over 20 Years of Experience in Wagon Assembly

In the late 1990s, while expanding our activities related to the repair of existing rolling stock, we launched underframe production and the assembly of new tank wagons in Ostróda. Initially, we assembled just one wagon per week, but over time, thanks to the commitment of our employees and continuous process optimization, we increased our capacity to up to 10 wagons per week.

Specialized Rail Tank Wagons for Multiple Industries

Since 2001, we have been assembling wagons based on GATX-designed projects, specialized for transporting a wide range of products, including:

• gasoline and fuels,
• asphalt
• hydrogen peroxide,
• chemicals,
• wine
• gases.

Every year, we deliver hundreds of new tank wagons that later operate across nearly every European country.

LPG 119 m³ – A Flagship Model of Our Facility
